I’ve been photographing professionally since…let’s just say since before most people on the planet have been around! I began my career in Boston photographing bands in concert such as CSN, Kenny Loggins, Queen, ELP, and more as well as lots of small bands on the local scene. As I moved from Boston to New York, London, Los Angeles, and Seattle (where I’ve been since 1994), I’ve photographed more live music, families, seniors, and launched a national portrait project for autism awareness. In 2014, I shifted to taking on commercial assignments and since 2022 have been primarily creating headshots for individuals and businesses.

In July of 2024, I had my standard poodle, Ellie, in the studio with me and decided to use her as a subject to test some new lighting. Surprisingly, the images looked pretty darn good. And working with her was a ton of fun. So, I decided to give pet photography a go and, wouldn’t you know, it’s going really well!
